Published annually, the CFA Guide to Sustainability is the flooring industry’s definitive source for the latest information about sustainability. We are now calling for content and adverts for the 2025–2026 issue and would be grateful if you were able to lend your support.
The theme for the CFA Guide to Sustainability 2025–2026 is ‘collaboration’. Opportunities with the publication are divided into two categories – thought leadership and paid promotion – which are explained in more detail below.
‘Thought leadership’ refers to content focusing on flooring industry trends, regulations and policy, typically in the front half of the CFA Guide to Sustainability. It is a positive reminder of industry progress, as well as a platform to discuss necessary changes still taking effect and yet to come. Contribution is FOC, included at the discretion of the editor on merit and thematic relevance.
All contributors towards thought leadership should be prepared to answer the question ‘How could (or should) industry be collaborating with regard to sustainability in flooring?’ Suggested areas might include: extended producer responsibility (EPR) schemes for packaging and waste; logistics for waste, and how we identify circular flooring once installed; and whether we could collaborate using the same model as we do for developing installation standards.
Paid promotions include adverts, placed throughout the guide, and editorial for the Buyer’s Guide – which allows companies to promote their sustainable products/services. This year, we would also be interested in accepting relevant case studies that make use of sustainability through their operations and supply chain.
Please note that as a digital publication, you can take full advantage of the online format by providing multimedia content, including animated graphics, videos and links. Companies are able to make use of BOTH thought leadership and paid promotion should they wish.
Throughout the year, the guide is highly publicised by key flooring media including Contract Flooring Journal, CFA Newsletter, Floorscape and social media. These are great ways to raise the profile of your company in a sustainability context, aligning it with environmental and social responsibility, so please do consider how you would like to take advantage and get in touch:
The deadline to agree to participate is 29th November by close of business, although content and adverts can be supplied past this date as agreed with Smart Marketing Works Ltd or Kick-Start Publishing Ltd as relevant.
