The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has published its 8th progress update to its CO2nstruct Zero Performance Framework.
Launched at COP26 in November 2021, the Performance Framework comprises of 31 metrics across nine priority areas, each of which tells a story of how the construction sector is reducing its carbon emissions. It is aimed at motivating businesses to section and to help those outside the sector understand the industry’s progress.
Data for the dashboard is collected on a quarterly basis, albeit not every metric will be available quarterly. The data is drawn from sources which already aggregate it, known as data point owners. The Performance Framework draws on emerging thinking on carbon measurement and assessment, enabling the CLC to regularly update and improve the metrics.
